aint no bugs on me

Here is Colorado we are lucky enough to live in a bug-free paradise, with the exception of a few flies. (something funny about flies to fallow) We do, however, have tons of Cottonwood trees. It's called the "June snow" when the cottonwood duff starts to fly. It really looks like snow, and when you're riding your bike you can't open your mouth or it will be full of fluff in no time. The other day at the playground Poppie was having the time of her life dancing around trying to catch "snowflakes". I'll try to remember to take a picture. The streets literally look like there was a massive stuffed animal massacre. It's really something to see.

About flies, yesterday I reached over, without looking, to grab a tissue and caught a fly! I felt like the karate kid. And also, I picked up a dead fly with my toes and kicked it out the door. (while holding both kids) I never knew how handy my long toes would come in until I became a mother.
